This is to let you know that we have had a
couple of changes to our calendar. The November
11th retreat, that was to be held at the Avalon Club
House, has to be cancelled. Also, due to a lack of
demonstrators, we cannot participate at the Civil
War Museum program on December 2nd.
The Holiday Luncheon is being planned
for December 9th. Before a venue can be chosen, we
need to know how many people will be attending.

There was no meeting
September meeting as many were off to either the Quilt
show in Madison
or the Sheep and Wool Festival in
Jefferson.
In August, Cathy helped us start Lace Angels. We
will complete the fill-in lace work (Romanian point) at
our October meeting. If you have your binders from a
previous workshop, bring them; otherwise, my binder will
be available for you to make copies at the library.
There are five kits available for the project as 12 were
purchased by our Guild.
The next meeting is at the Southwest Library, from 1-3
PM on Oct 14, but in Conference room A, which is to the
right of the desk. We will be finishing the Angel, but
come and work on your own project if not working on the
group project.
Bring your show and tell along
with items that need rehoming.
