Lighthouse Lacers

November 2018 Lighthouse Lacers Newsletter

Meetings will be held in the 2nd floor conference room (by deli department and accessible by stairs and elevator) at Festival Foods, 3207-80th Street, Kenosha, WI, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

The October 13th meeting was held at Hospice House to decorate the tree with ornaments made by members. The tree will be part of the raffle to raise money for hospice. Fran, Jan, Barbara and Trish had the honor to decorate the tree for the group. Hopefully everyone kept track of the hours for the beautiful ornaments.

Festival Food’s conference room secured for noon on Dec 8th.   It will be catered by Festival Foods and it will be paid for by the guild.   We will order a selection of food based on the number who will attend.  We will also have election of officers.   Dues for the year will be collected and an optional gift exchange also.   Victorian Christmas:  Saturday, December 1st., some of our lacers will do a demonstration at the Civil War Museum.

Hospice Christmas Tree:  Jan did have raffle tickets to sell.

Retreat 2019:  Jan Niederioh is offering to teach a bobbin lace class on Schneeberger.  We will discuss this is January.

New policy - We will only be able to book two meetings at a time in 2019, so check newsletter for correct meeting location.
