I trust this newsletter finds you all well as we
shelter in place due to COVID 19 that has changed what
our normal days are like.
At this time, the clubhouse is reserved for an all-day
retreat on May 2nd
9:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m.
If
the shelter in place gets extended by the governor, we
will have to cancel and reschedule.
The address is
6325-44th Street,
Avalon Parc Condo Clubhouse. Entrance is either off of
Green Bay Road
between Hansen
Pool and Sunset Ridge cemetery
or turn at traffic light on
45th Street.
We
hope to make the convention favors ( about 1-2 hours to
complete) then work on UFO. We will have many
knowledgeable members to help us navigate projects.
The March meeting was held from
1-3 p.m.
at Ocenco, Inc. 10224-82nd Avenue,
Pleasant Prairie, WI.
There were seven members present.
Convention
favors ideas were presented. Cathy actually made two
different types of holders with emery boards inside. The
members present decided this was
a great idea.
Supplies were ordered and we will make at the retreat.
A large box of new unopened
threads from Barbara’s house will be sent to the
convention in Barbara’s name.
Sympathy card was signed and will be sent to Tom.
We had an opportunity to share books, various craft
supplies and memories of Barbara during the rest of the
meeting. Rose Ann will contact the lacing group in IL
and IOLI to see if they would like books.
